Emotions you may experience: Affection, Confusion, Thrill, Horror, Romance(Of course!)
Being used to Collen Hoover's romantic novels, the book came as a surprise to me. Verity is a romantic thriller and a mystery . It was fresh and glad seeing her venture into new genres. Although the book has a mixed reaction from the audience, I want to claim that this is one among her best works so far. The reason being that the story remained unpredictable. I really loved the way of how Hoover maintained the story line, the suspense and the way she kept us hooked to the book till the last word.
The story goes around a woman who comes in the scene to complete a novel. Then the story takes many twists and turns. The way characters are built is not however as strong as her previous novels and surprisingly it is appropriate .The ending left me perplexed because I didn't know what to think about it.
The little surprises in between and the confusion, certain parts brings is remarkable. All credits to her wonderful story writing skills.
The book overall is a win and recommended![CoHo biased].
