I feel extremely inferior to even judge a book this great!
Emotions you may experience: Anger, Sadness, Frustration, Relief, and Anguish.
It takes a different level of courage and spirit to write something so pure. The book has made my emotions go down the drain. The book by Khaled Husseini speaks of few lives in middle east, but I would like to say this a Mariam's story. The book hits different when you realize that it is a real-life story for many. The book made me feel grateful for my reality.
The story line is really built in such a way that it touches even a man with a heart of stone. A person undergoing as many troubles as Mariam experiences in the story left me crying so hard.
The characters are so strong and emotionally relatable way of writing and since this is the very first book that I have ever read of Khaled Husseini , I understand quite the hype of the book and it did live unto the hype.
The book is a must read.
